Salt delivery, carried to the tank.
A simple service with one honest caveat: it is only worth anything if you actually have a salt-based softener, and if yours is set up properly you will need less than you think.
How it works
We agree an interval from your unit’s real consumption, bring the right salt for it, carry the bags to the tank rather than leaving them by the garage door, load it, and check the level and the brine while we are there. If the tank is fuller than expected we skip the delivery and say why.
The caveat, up front
If your softener is on a timer instead of a meter, or is undersized, it is regenerating more than it needs to and you are buying salt to cover a settings problem. Fixing that is cheaper than delivering more salt, and we would rather sell you the fix once than the salt forever.
Which salt
Pellets for most units. Potassium chloride where somebody is watching their sodium intake — it costs noticeably more per bag and we will tell you what the difference works out at annually before you commit to it rather than after.

Ranges, not quotes. The figure that matters is the written one you get after we have measured your water and seen the plumbing. We would rather give you a wide honest range now than a precise number we have to walk back on the day.
Questions
How much salt should a normal household use?
It depends on hardness, household size and how the valve is set, which is exactly why a jump in consumption is worth investigating rather than just ordering more.
Do you take the empty bags?
Yes.
Can I skip a delivery?
Yes, and we will skip it ourselves if the tank does not need it.
